Eligibility for application

(1) Anyone can apply (professionals/amateurs, individuals/groups, and regardless of residence).

*However, if you are under 18 years of age, please apply with the consent of your parent or guardian.
*If posting on Instagram, you must have a valid Instagram account.

(2) There is no limit to the number of entries, but only one entry per contestant will be awarded a prize.

Application rules

(1) Limited to works shot within Kobe city.

(2) Works to be submitted must be original works taken by the applicant, with all copyrights owned, and must not have been submitted to any other contest, etc.

(3) Works that have been processed using software or apps after being photographed can also be submitted. However, synthetic processing is not possible.
For example, it is not possible to add things that were not in the picture or delete things that were in the picture. Color adjustments and cropping are possible.

(4) Photography equipment may be digital cameras, smartphones, etc.

(5) Please apply in Jpeg (JPG)/GIF/PNG/BMP/PDF format, or a compressed ZIP file.

(6) There is no limit to the number of submitted works, but only one work can be submitted per submission.

(7) There are no regulations regarding image size, resolution, aspect ratio, etc.

How to apply

For Instagram (photo contest only)

(1) Please follow the contest official Instagram account @minnade_kobe.
(2) From Instagram, add "#EveryoneKobe", enter the title of the work, the recruitment theme ① to ⑤ in the caption, and post the photo.
*If the recruitment theme is not listed in the caption, it will not be considered.
*Please submit one photo at a time. If multiple photos are submitted, the first photo will be considered for entry.

For application form

Please fill out the required information in the application form on the official website and upload your application.

Precautions

<Photo contest>

(1) Although the copyright of the submitted work belongs to the applicant, Kobe City or an organization authorized by Kobe City may use the work for free, on a web page, at an event, or in PR, without the consent of the applicant. etc., and may be used for secondary purposes other than commercial purposes. The copyright of the resulting work belongs to Kobe City. In addition, some images may be processed and used, such as by cropping. (Please note that the information may be lent to a third party at this time). Even in that case, the author's moral rights will not be exercised. When using images for commercial purposes, we will explain the purpose and conditions (paid or unpaid) to the photographer in advance, and only use the images with permission.

(2) Please ensure that the submitted work does not require any intellectual property rights processing such as copyright, and that the necessary permission procedures have been completed.

(3) Please be careful not to infringe on portrait rights, honor, privacy, or other rights of third parties with regard to submitted works. If an individual can be easily identified, such as a passerby's face in the work, please obtain the individual's consent or edit the work so that the individual cannot be identified before applying.

(4) Accidents that occur during the filming of the submitted work and any other troubles (including legal claims such as claims for damages from persons who own intellectual property rights regarding the submitted work) will be resolved at the applicant's responsibility and expense. Kobe City shall not bear any responsibility.

(5) If there is any falsehood or violation of the content of the application or the submitted work, or if it is determined that it infringes on the rights of others, it will not be subject to review. In addition, even after the winning work has been announced, the winning entry may be canceled and the prize returned.

(6) Works that fall under, or are likely to fall under, any of the following will be excluded from consideration without notifying the applicant.

  1. Things that violate laws and regulations
  2. Contains violent, discriminatory, obscene expressions, or promotes crime, which is contrary to public order and morals
  3. Things that defame or violate the privacy of individuals, companies, organizations, etc.
  4. Things that infringe on the copyrights, trademark rights, portrait rights, and other intellectual property rights of third parties
  5. Things intended to advertise companies or products, or promote or solicit specific ideologies such as politics or religion
  6. Contains expressions that are contrary to the purpose and theme of this contest and are inappropriate as works for PR of Kobe City
  7. Other content that the organizer deems inappropriate

(7) At the time of application, you will be deemed to have consented to all recruitment requirements.

(8) For submitted works that use portraits, copyrighted materials, or other materials owned by others, please obtain licensing approval in advance.

(9) If you are a minor, please apply with the consent of your parent or guardian.

(10) All expenses required for application shall be borne by the applicant.

(11) Entries will not be returned.

(12) The only official Instagram account for the contest is @minnade_kobe. Please be careful about spoofing accounts.

<Regarding Instagram application for photo contest>

(1) Entries submitted for this contest must comply with the conditions set forth in 1 to 3 below. Works that violate these conditions will not be subject to review.

  1. There are no restrictions on the scope of disclosure.
  2. Do not use posting methods that will not be seen within 24 hours.
    Specifically, it must not be posted to Instagram Stories.
  3. The posted photo must not violate Instagram's terms of use, guidelines, etc.

(2) This will be required for selection and notification of winners, so even after completing your application, please do not unfollow the official account, delete the submitted work, or limit the scope of publication until February 2025.

(3) The organizer's official account may reply to posts from applicants.

(4) This contest is not operated, sponsored, directed by, or involved in Instagram. Additionally, the organizer is not responsible for any damage caused by Instagram or related applications.

Handling of personal information, etc.

Applicants' personal information will be used to the extent necessary for the operation of this contest and will not be used for any other purpose.
When using a work, the applicant's name (nickname is also acceptable), organization name, city/town/village of residence, and description of the work may be made public.
